TA Helper Guide

Okay, if you’ve read this page then I assume you’ve installed TA, ATLAS, AGTH in your computer plus you have basic knowledge how to set up the whole things. Yup, you should somhow mastering those subjects above before you could practice this tutorial. The system of translation include ATLAS, TA, and AGTH while TA Helper will help you to get better view of translation by filtering name from being translated.

First, download the latest version of TAHelper in this link

Download also TAHelper plugin! This is very important.

Unpack TA Helper Content inside TA folder

Unpack TAHPlugin content inside Plugin folder of TA folder

Now, run TAHelper

run TA program. Do you see green words? If so, good because that’s mean TA Helper its working

Now, is time to know TAHelper commands:

1- Enable – you need to check this box to TAHelper to work !

2- Name at beginning – Used to remove names of characters from the begin of the texts. you need to check this box to this option to work ( of course )

3- Remove from sentence – Used to remove useless characters from the sentence. you need to check this box to this option to work ( of course )

Just a short example about “Name at beginning” : sometimes, AGTH hook the text of the game like this:

佐藤当然の事ながら……

However, If you pay attention, in the game screen the text show like this:

佐藤

当然の事ながら……

In few words, 佐藤 is the name of the character (Satou) that is speaking and is NOT PART OF SPEACH ! This can create TERRIBLE translation mistakes. Just test it. Copy ( CTRL+C ) this text to TA:

佐藤当然の事ながら……

TAHelper can FIX this trouble. Just make the following configurations in TAHelper:

1- Check the check box of “Name at Beginning”.

2- Check the check box “separate by” and choose 【】

3- Put the word 佐藤 2 times separating by CTRL+TAB each word ( this not work If you not use CTRL+TAB to separate the both 佐藤 佐藤

4- Now click in “Apply” .

DONE ! Now copy ( CTRL+C ) again the following text:

佐藤当然の事ながら……

1- Check the check box of “Name at Beginning”.

2- Check the check box “separate by” and choose 【】

3- Put the word 佐藤 2 times separating by CTRL+TAB each word ( this not work If you not use CTRL+TAB to separate the both 佐藤 佐藤

4- Now click in “Apply” .

DONE ! Now copy ( CTRL+C ) again the following text:

佐藤当然の事ながら……

Now use this setting:

1-Enable “Remove from Sentence”

2- Add “～” and separate each new character with “;” ( NEVER forget to use “;” to separate each character in “remove from sentence” section ! )

“;” without quotes, of course ! ( semicolon )

3- Now click in “Apply” .

DONE ! Now copy ( CTRL+C ) again the following text:

佐藤当然の～事～な～が～ら～～
