The first thing you should know before your read this blog further

Hello, welcome to SPN Corner. So what is SPN Corner? SPN Corner is a blog that the authors (Sprucefir & Tamaya) use to scribble some article before it posted on his real weblog - in other word this blog saves backup and prototyep archive of SPN (sprucefir.wordpress.com). This weblog is sister blog to the Sprucefir Netsphere and its purpose as a media for the SPN writer to do some experimenting to write an article; so the article in here might show up as well in Sprucefir Netsphere or if the article didn't meet quality standar of SPN it might be stays only on this blog.

When you're read this blog, please don't expect frequent update because the most active blog is Sprucefir Netsphere. However, if you have a question regarding the articles in here never leave it in the comment coz I'll rarely reply, instead send me an e-mail at sprucefir_ra@yahoo.com or Tamaya_natsu@yahoo.com

And so if you expecting more article about visual novel, anime, and pop-culture then I suggest you to visit my other blog at Sprucefir Netsphere.

General Starting Point – Setting The Regional

It's might lil'bit late to discuss how to setting pc regional to Japanese since I've discuss a lot more stuff before this one. But it's still not too late to write it up so reader could get basic knowledge about it. Okay, folks hear word from enigmatic dwi_edge. Before you’re trying to install an eroge; there is one important thing that you should do. What is that?
Change your regional setting to Japanese…
as for us (dwi_edge & actually me too), we change all of them into japanese, coz there’s some game which even check the time zone, formats, and the Location
Windows 7
go to Control Panel, Clock Language and Region, Region and Language..
pick the Administrative tab and click CHANGE SYSTEM LOCALE…
pick japanese, and then you’ll be asked for restart, restart your PC
Windows XP
you need some kind of files…
google it… (or try this one: Japanese XP pack) or just install jap-language from your WINDOWS XP CD… (use your original one please ^^)
How?
1. Download the “Japanese-Pack-XP.rar” above
2. Extract “Japanese-Pack-XP.rar” to a folder of your choosing (preferably desktop)
3. Go to Control Panel–>Regional and Language Options
4. Under the “Languages” tab tic the “Install files for East Asian Languages”
5. Click Apply, on the insert cd message click ok and the it’ll give you the same error BUT with the option to choose where to load the files from
6. go to …/Japanese-Pack-XP/i386/Lang and load the only file that appears (only one appears because it asks for a specific file)
7. sit back and watch it install
8. it doesn’t matter as long as you eventually restart, not log off/standby/hibernate.
Okay, now go and setting you O/S son! Then we could proceed to the next lesson. That's all folks for today, see you again!
